Head Of Logistics Solutions

DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Global Leader in 3PL looking to bring on a new Head of Logistics Solutions. This role can sit in several locations across North America.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide logistics analysis and design expertise in the pursuit of new business, inclusive of requirement clarifications, tender evaluations, manpower calculations, infrastructure and automation design and investment cases
• Ensure proper assessment of efficiency for solution concepts, undertake simulation studies on capacity profiles and limits, material flow balancing, and incremental investments.
• Review existing operations layouts and perform warehouse re-design as needed taking into consideration of net impact. Review appropriate storage types and methodologies.
• Provide leadership in logistics solutions design through evaluation and introduction of suitable storage and handling solutions and automation relative to the customer’s needs.
• Conduct Financial impact (cost benefit) analysis for proposed initiatives, quantify savings projection and together with intangible benefits.
• Establish strong customer relationships and anticipate customer solution needs.

Role Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in designing and implementing logistics solutions
• Skillful in crafting polished proposals and delivering presentations
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields highly encouraged
• Highly collaborative with a proven ability to promptly address and resolve issues effectively
• Significant expertise in financial and cost accounting, along with analysis proficiency
• Thorough understanding of automation applications, storage solutions, material handling equipment, packaging strategies, spatial analysis, workforce planning, and order/inventory/SKU analysis
