LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Director of Global Freight Logistics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global freight logistics operations, including managing 3PL relationships, coordinating shipments, and ensuring that all logistics processes are running efficiently. This is a remote position and can be based in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico or Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all shipments are properly documented and tracked, and that all necessary paperwork is filed and maintained.
• Manage the logistics budget and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary limits.
• Ensure that all logistics processes comply with local and international regulations.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
• Oversee the coordination of shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that logistics activities align with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping operations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a 3PL management role.
• Experience with logistics management software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of global shipping regulations and logistics processes.
