Job Description
As the Head of Media Ops, you will provide critical day to day management of the Media Operations team, continuously improving the team's ability to exceed client expectations through efficient, accurate, and consistent fulfillment of ad campaigns utilizing Amazon DSP and other platforms. You thrive when you're required to bounce between hands-on tactical support and strategic project development. Your passion lies in removing barriers for your team and helping them become masters in campaign management.


Responsibilities


Day-to-day personnel management


  • Become an expert on Revive's platforms and tools to improve the Media Ops team's day to day performance
  • Stay up to date on the latest releases by Amazon, such as AMC and AAT, to ensure Revive’s continued leadership in the space
  • Identify and produce ongoing training for Media Ops team
  • Implement and enforce processes that enable the team to scale and work efficiently
  • Develop strong relationship with counterparts at our DSP partners
  • Support monthly billing process
  • Ensure the team operates with minimal errors on their campaigns
  • Provide internal and external stakeholders with exceptional customer service and support
  • Understand team bandwidth to determine optimal account distribution and reporting on hiring needs
  • Provide support as an escalation path to the team for troubleshooting issues on campaigns and related DSP bugs
  • Ensure margins are being met to support strong business health
  • Partner with client strategy team to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Manage the Media Ops team who own the implementation of advertising campaigns from start to finish, monitor and optimize multiple campaigns at a time, and ensure campaigns launch and deliver on schedule and according to client expectations


Examples of Key Projects beyond day-to-day personnel management:


  • Develop key benchmarks and internal metrics to uphold
  • Contribute to strategic projects that will help drive efficiency and revenue growth for Revive
  • Identify issues that prevent campaigns from hitting KPI’s and performance benchmarks, and propose solutions
  • Establish process and protocol for pre-launch and post-launch work to improve quality assurance and great customer experience
  • Identify and implement opportunities to test new solutions, providing results to strategy team to develop case studies and strategic solution collateral


Requirements


Basic Qualifications


  • Deep understanding of digital media ad serving, technology, and associated terminology
  • Motivated individual, with a positive attitude, who consistently strives to exceed expectations
  • Ability to work within a highly collaborative, dynamic environment
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • 5+ years experience in programmatic advertising operations, OTT and e-commerce experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to legally work in the United States
  • Experience establishing performance benchmarks, best practices, and key business metrics


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proven track record of growing accounts, hitting SLAs, and impeccable execution of campaigns for clients
  • Strong data analysis abilities (Excel v-lookups, pivot tables, and basic functions)
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • Experience with Amazon DSP
  • Proven track record influencing process improvements that scale broadly, while inventing and simplifying within existing processes
