Skechers is growing the Digital Group and is looking to hire a new Performance Media Specialist with experience and passion for digital marketing, social media, and performance marketing. This role will develop and execute campaign strategies and ongoing optimizations within the performance media ads platforms for digital marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing, Yahoo, Snapchat, & TikTok. The role will manage department budgets, and work on account analysis/reporting to contribute to the overall campaign strategy. The role requires a natural self-starter who will assist with the performance and growth of the paid social and paid search campaigns. The ideal Performance Media Specialist candidate is creatively-minded and performance-driven, a strong collaborator, and an all-around get it done attitude. Applicants should have an in-depth understanding of paid social, paid search, display ads, e-commerce, and DTC marketing experience, and an aptitude for analyzing data and identifying performance trends. Past experience developing enterprise campaigns and working directly within a variety of digital media platforms is required. Essential Job Results


  • Assist in day-to-day as well ad-hoc digital media projects, as needed
  • Manage and execute campaigns across multiple search, social, and display channels including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing, Yahoo, Snapchat, & TikTok
  • Facilitate meetings, Asana projects, and other project management as needed with team
  • Leverage document management and collaboration tools as well as other media and marketing platforms
  • Assist with strategy and execution of digital marketing channels for the Digital E-commerce business in an effort to hit or surpass goals within budget for ad spend
  • Understand basic marketing funnel and where each channel plays a role
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and create competitor research reports
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns, including building on ad-buying interfaces, launching media, optimizing, and making daily adjustments as needed to ensure business and marketing goals are met
  • Assist in A/B test ideation, execution and post-test reporting, as needed
  • Assists in organizing marketing campaign briefs and Asana projects.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining digital content calendar for acquisition tactics, as needed
  • Participate and provide creative and thoughtful ideas/input as part of digital team collaborations, including performance ideas and opportunities
  • QA and UAT of ad copy, creative, promotions, and vendor-supplied recommendations and reporting
  • Help implement optimizations to hit department KPI's in the quickest time possible through paid search, social, & display
  • Work within SILA to facilitate creative requests and follow-up
  • Communicate effectively with the team staying accountable, highlighting wins, losses, and learning insights
  • Analyze performance data and provide intelligent analysis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on data-driven conclusions

Qualifications


  • Proactive, organized, and able to work autonomously
  • Shopify / eComm experience preferred
  • Intermediate- to advanced-level Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • An interest in fashion and knowledge of current trends a plus
  • Agency experience developing and presenting Digital Strategy to clients or senior management is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of the online advertising industry and search landscape
  • Highly computer literate; ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently
  • An interest in learning and utilizing new/emerging marketing technology
  • Experience with analyzing paid media results and finding data insights for external reporting
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • 2-3+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete work independently with careful attention to detail and follow-up; extremely accurate; demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize tasks
  • Google Ads certification preferred


Education And Experience


  • Experience working in and office and remote environment
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Marketing in a field similar or related to marketing, or equivalent experience or 2+ years in a similar marketing role
  • Media plan creation experience preferred, but not required
