What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role

The IT Lead-Farms will be responsible for leading a diverse set of IT professionals through the daily operations of an Information Technology department, providing governance and oversight for various projects, and building the organizational IT strategy. This includes identifying and implementing new solutions/technologies, upgrading existing solutions, and enhancing existing capabilities.

The job requires successfully executing administrative duties, managing a diverse team of people, and a strong understanding of technology and how it supports and integrates with business processes and objectives

Job Duties

• Ensure solutions are designed to be easily and naturally adopted by end users.
• Oversee multiple IT operational functions including Networking, Services (Service Desk and Techs), Mobility, Communications/Telephony, System Engineers/Administrators, and Business Application configuration & development.
• Develop and implement Cybersecurity best practices (systems and procedures) to ensure the company’s systems and data are secure.
• Ensure resources are appropriately prioritized, balanced, and applied across multiple active projects.
• Manage and negotiate with potential and existing vendors including negotiating MSA’s, pricing, SOW’s, and terms.
• Work with Legal, HR, and other support functions to define, implement and monitor IT based Policies, Processes, and Procedures for the company.
• Evaluate, manage, and mitigate risk associated with IT systems (solution lifecycle management, new technologies & capabilities, cybersecurity, staffing)
• Develop, justify, manage, and refine annual budgets for both Operational and Capital spend.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders to identify challenges that can be addressed with Technology.
• Oversee change management and communications as it relates to IT systems.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of direct reports including succession planning.
• Lead the team through Disaster Recovery (DR) development, testing, and refinement.
• Manage and monitor IT KPI’s for service provided to the business.
• Identify, prioritize, and provide justification for the implementation of business-focused IT solutions solving multiple goals such as cost savings, efficiency, data collection/availability, and revenue generation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and achieve the stated goals.
• Program management for both IT operations and solution implementation.

What We’re Looking For

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or similar field and/or 7+ years equivalent work experience in a senior IT leadership role.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Experience in the Agriculture industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
• Experience in operational manufacturing processes (OEE, continuous manufacturing, etc.).
• Must be self-directed and have the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Experience overseeing solutions crossing multiple platform (on Prem, Hosted, and SaaS).
• Experiencing overseeing multiple enterprise level systems and corresponding integrations.
• Experience in the Agriculture industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
