KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embodies a culture of controllership and acts a strong role model for compliance and integrity.
- Act as business partner to demonstrate insight of financial trends, productivity, and provide practical recommendations to drive results.
- Drives results; sets clear targets; aligns teams and resources, monitors the delivery of results through peers and extended teams.
- Ensures Financial Compliance and proper Financial Books & Records.
- Influences and aligns priorities for a large team of approx. 50 finance professionals globally and 16 key IT leader teams to drive adoption, change management and IT readiness of new tools and capabilities.
- Monitors and continually strengthens the global control environment, including process- and financial controls.
- Drive integration, alignment and consistency with SBG CFO/BAP/CIO leaders to monitor and track digital transformation progress – including capturing and quantifying IT enabled benefits.
- Contribute to design of IT CFO team operating model to leverage full benefit of Center of Excellence, re-align shadow finance activities and develop and build high performing team
- Identify performance issues within the business and risks and opportunities in current plan or forecast.
- Instill a culture that emphasizes accountability and transparency among the finance team
- Key leader on IT CFO leadership team.
- Serve as proxy from time to time for IT CFO.
- Act as strategic finance leader and partner for two – three Vice President tower leaders within digital technology
- Establish clear, consistent reporting and operating processes - ensuring accurate and timely data availability and insightful, thorough analysis.
- Key leader supporting functional Planning, Estimating, and with strong productivity accountability.
- Supports the Financial and Planning process for Corporate, including STRAP, AOP, and short-range outlook.
- Demonstrates COO mindset to Manager $1B+ Corp Operating Budget and Enterprise-wide IT investment portfolio and process which underlies Honeywell’s Digital Transformation
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Comfortable acting as an organization’s COO in the CFO capacity
- Takes personal responsibility to ensure full execution.
- Experience driving finance transformation – including introduction of Robotics/RPA, automation tools and capabilities and establishing COE’s for transactional work
- Understands that employees look to Finance for indications of business health and provides a realistic, but optimistic view.
- Conveys information with clarity and directness.
- Demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations.
- Possesses the self-awareness to monitor and adjust the signals sent to the organization (mood, demeanor, mannerisms, the way people are treated) to have a positive impact.
- An inspirational leader with proven track record of building high performing teams and developing talent
- Experience leading large and geographically dispersed global teams
- Ability to demonstrate strong financial integrity, focus on controls and forecast accuracy. Finance Acumen. Direct experience from a large-scale segment FP&A or CFO role in a multinational environment is essential.
- A change agent with a high degree of personal accountability
- Analytical finance skills, including the ability to develop analyses, performance measures and incentives that drive efficient operations, are highly important. The successful candidate should be very proficient in spotting trends and interpreting data.

EDUCATION
- MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
- Undergraduate degree is required.
COMPENSATION
- A highly competitive compensation program will be provided to the successful candidate including base salary and a performance-based incentive bonus (both short-term and long-term).
