We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of FICC Trading to lead the trading operations of a top quantitative trading company based in New York. Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of projects and strategy inputs, collaborating with other departments and senior leadership to drive profitability and improve PnL.
• Lead and manage the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) trading desk, overseeing a dynamic team of traders focused on researching, interpreting, and capitalizing on global trading markets.
• Empower and motivate team members, holding them accountable for achieving results and demonstrating the firm's values.
• Drive the development and execution of trading strategies, leveraging cutting-edge quantitative methods and technology to optimize trading performance.
• Collaborate with other business units, including technology, research, and risk management, to ensure seamless integration of trading strategies into the firm's overall operations.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
• Proven track record of success in FICC trading, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Extensive experience with quantitative trading, algorithmic trading, and machine learning methods.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and competitive trading environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
