Trading Operations Specialist Jobs

As part of their continuous growth and expansion, they are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trade Support Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Trade Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our trading operations and ensuring the seamless execution of trades across various financial instruments. Your exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our investment strategies. You will also be working closely with the PM's and a variety of trading desks and asset classes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform trade capture, trade confirmation, and reconciliation of trading activity across multiple asset classes.
• Conduct post-trade analysis and reporting to identify potential risks, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated with market regulations and industry trends, making recommendations for process improvements and automation.
• Provide operational support for various trading systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate closely with traders, portfolio managers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate the timely execution and settlement of trades.
• Act as a liaison between trading desks, brokers, custodians, and other external counterparties to resolve any trade-related discrepancies.
• Monitor trade lifecycle events and troubleshoot any trade-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in trade support or operations within a hedge fund, investment bank, or asset management firm.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of market regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trade support systems, such as order management systems (OMS) and trade capture platforms.
• Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement processes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
