Job Description

Our client a dynamic NYC-based trading firm is looking for an Operations Associate to support growing trading operations (this includes functions that may be called Middle Office or Back Office in other financial firms).

Primary tasks will include daily position and PnL reconciliations, trade settlement support, and trade recordkeeping and reporting support.

The person in this role will work closely with trading desks and our clearing firms and brokers to resolve issues in a timely manner.

They will also work with the operations and software teams to onboard new products and constantly improve internal processes.

The role offers potential for growth with the firm.

The candidate must have ability to think quickly and work in high-pressure environment. Organization, superior attention to detail, and ability to multitask are required.

Strong ability to work with spreadsheets and databases is a must. Knowledge of and experience with a variety of financial products is a plus.

Relevant experience in trading or clearing middle office/back office/operations is a plus. Bachelor’s degree (or extensive relevant work experience) required.


70-100K base plus bonus and fully paid benefits
