Head of Trading Equities Mid -Freq.

Head of Trading for a $30+ Billion global proprietary quantitative trading firm. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful trading firm and build out mid-frequency in equities, manage the team and global European business, up to 40% split on PnL on offer.

Responsibilities:

As the Head of Mid Frequency Trading Equities, you will be responsible for leading and growing a dynamic team of quantitative traders focused on researching, interpreting, and capitalizing on the global trading markets. You will be empowered to lead and motivate your team, holding them accountable for achieving results and demonstrating the firm's values. You will also take ownership of projects, strategy inputs, and improving PnL.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Extensive experience in equities mid freq trading, with a proven track record of success in a quantitative trading environment.
• Deep knowledge of risk management.
• Excellent P&L History in a buy-side firm.
• Strong understanding of the market structure, market microstructure, and trading strategies.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.
