Blassa, a one-click checkout platform that helps e-commerce & logistics eliminate delivery failures and increase conversion rates, is seeking a Growth Lead to support the CEO and executive leadership team in business development and operations. As a founding member at Blassa, you're a strategic thinker, problem solver, and effective communicator, capable of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams. The Growth & Operations Lead will play a critical role in shaping the company's vision, strategy and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- As an early core member, the scope of the role could be adjusted to match relevant priorities.
- Contribute to designing and executing hiring plans and organizing company-wide events, such as offsites and employee recognition programs, with a focus on promoting the company's values and culture.
- Develop and manage the budget for marketing and business development in collaboration with the CEO.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape the company's vision, strategy and culture.
- Prepare and review briefing materials, presentations, and reports, particularly related to marketing strategies, business development activities, and operational metrics.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team in marketing and business development, providing insights and recommendations on key business decisions.
- Lead special projects and initiatives from conception to execution, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, particularly in marketing and business development.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions to drive business growth.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams in marketing or business development.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, particularly related to marketing and business development.
- Experience working in a startup environment preferred, with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior executives and external stakeholders on marketing and business development topics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
- Passion for shaping the company's vision, strategy and culture as a founding member.
