The Strategy Digital Growth Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows Digital Wealth developments in the industry, new players, new features and new trends. Is not a client facing role. The Lead has excellent communication skills required to present market information to senior level. Should have communication skills required in order to work with different internal teams and should create working relationships with colleagues at Citi. Responsible for maintaining relationships with other teams such as Digital, Tech, Operations, Client Service, and others to ensure that projects have the internal resources needed. The incumbent will care for products in a variety of aspects, internal business approval processes, dashboards and metrics to measure product performance and creating insights for seniors to have a view on how products are performing.


Responsibilities:


  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Deliver Digital Wealth competitive intelligence analysis. Follow emerging industry trends and potential disrupters to segments and strategy.
  • Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis in preparation for business and management meetings related to the products the incumbent is involved in.
  • Once products are launched, coordinate with the business and internal teams (Digital, Service and Client Experience) to ensure successful follow ups on metrics to provide seniors with a clear picture of progress and results.
  • Coordinate the resolution when products are not working as intended, once Digital or Tech raise an issue, incumbent should bring the internal teams together to reach a solutions(s) to then be presented to seniors for a decision on a path forward
  • Grasp key priorities and complex issues quickly and create clear written presentations/communications that will be used by seniors to inform on projects internally
  • Demonstrate a significant grasp of the organization, the business, and the markets to deliver crisp and succinct executive-level responses.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Wealth business and other internal teams such as Digital, Tech, Operations, Client Service and others keeping metrics of product’s performance, understanding processes and constantly evolving them and proposing enhancements needed. Create routines/meetings with internal teams with the appropriate agenda and content to have meaningful conversations to create the space for different teams to report and explain their metrics.
  • Work within the Wealth Client Growth & Segments function, supporting the development and implementation of digital strategies to grow the business. Analyze and assess implications for the business and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide to seniors so that new opportunities are assessed.


Qualifications:


  • Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret. Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Services.
  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results.
  • Prior Consulting experience.
  • Proven strategic thinking and analytic skills coupled with financial acumen. Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
  • Project planning and management experience.
  • Able to translate data and metrics from across different constituencies in order to create clear and concise executive presentation materials. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to create support across a wide range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks.
  • Franchise player; broad, critical thinker, self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Understands consumer financial services businesses and operating model


Education:


  • Bachelor’s/University degree, potentially Masters degree
