Financial Analyst Procure to Pay

You are a dynamic, motivated, and hard-working individual who thrives in a constantly evolving environment. In this role, you will contribute to a broad spectrum of operational accounting areas to maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization. You will interact closely with other Meraki business teams as internal partners and other Cisco wide finance teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with functional business leaders, stakeholders, and external consultants to investigate finance-related questions and concerns

• Partner with outsourced operational teams and review processing of transactions

• Monitor end to end Procure to Pay process related to requisition flow, supplier onboarding and updates, invoice processing, aging of payables and payments

• Calculate Accrued Liabilities and Prepaid Account Balances as they relate to the P2P and Accounts Payable processes.

• Network with Operations, Finance, and other Business teams across the organization to understand process flows and troubleshoot escalated transactions

• Prepare and post journals entries related to Cash and Bank, Accounts Payable, Accrued Liabilities for Direct and Indirect spend, VAT and Shipping/Logistics

• Drive process improvement, simplification, automation and support overall business objectives

• Assist in System Migration activities and related process changes, as necessary

• Candidates must meet the minimum requirements outlined.

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (“Must have” Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field (Finance or Accounting preferred)

• 5+ years of related experience in Accounting Operations (especially Procure to Pay and/or Order to Cash) or Accounting or Finance organization in a medium to large sized company

• Proficient in excel

• Cultivate positive work environment and ability to work on multiple results in a fast-paced environment cross functionally
