File Clerk For Collections

As the File Clerk for Collections, you will be responsible for: * Providing statements * Making copies of payment records and locating payments * Monitoring the distribution of EOBS * Sorting and distributing mail * Filing accounts and correspondence * Mailing claims, appeals and purging file bends Pay Range: $19.48 - $24.78/hourly

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with: * Hospital billing and collections knowledge * Ability to document pertinent information to patients and management * Excellent organization, time management and communication skills * Skill in using various computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, CareConnect/Epic) * Skill in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers with a calculator * Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability * Skill in performing repetitive works according to set procedures sequence and production requirements * Ability to work on multiple projects and priortize tasks effectively * Skill in typing with speed and accuracy * Ability to work at a CRT performing repetitive work, in a sedentary environment, for extended periods of time
