Accounting Clerk Jobs

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our corporate headquarters in Lodi, CA. PCP is investing in its people and advancing a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America.

Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour; candidate will be paid based on their work experience and skills. Full-time.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments with minimal errors. This individual is responsible for daily reconciliation between cash receipts and bank statements, maintaining organized files, navigating customer portals, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet team objectives. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential for success in this role.

Primary Job Duties Include

• Other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate effectively with different teams to contribute to overall team objectives.
• Post payments accurately and in a timely manner with attention to detail and minimal errors.
• Proactively identify and solve problems that may arise in the payment processing workflow.
• Meet all job-related deadlines.
• Navigate various customer websites and portals to retrieve documentation for payments and deductions.
• Perform daily reconciliation between posted cash receipts and the bank.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files.

Requirements

• Analytical and detail oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Understanding of basic general accounting principles, knowledge of debits and credits.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of JDE and CForia preferred.
