Position Summary

Compiles, verifies, and files medical records of medical facility by performing the following duties

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned
• Assembles records into standard order
• Maintain medical record supplies as needed
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Files charts in designated areas according to applicable alphabetic and numeric filing systems
• Utilizes Nextech to access patient account information
• Responds to requests from internal and external entities for information from medical record charts in a timely manner according to policies and procedures
• Medical Record Chart Management:
• Reviews medical record charts for completeness
• Creates, prepares, organizes, and maintains patient medical record charts
• Requests and schedules chart pickup and return from off-site storage facilities
