Experienced Project Manager Jobs

Ruder Finn is seeking an experienced professional to project manage a large, highly complex, multi-year campaign with multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Works closely with account and management team with minimal oversight for delivery on large complex deliverables, work streams and sub workstreams
• Stay ahead of possible client issues and work directly with leadership to avoid any issues with client delivery or client experience
• Develop and maintain best practices for key milestones, meetings/check-ins, scheduling, project updates, finance management/budgets, and other related project documentation
• Provide direction and management on different deliverables across small to medium sized campaigns, and help with the coordination of various functions; paid media, account management, creative strategy, account insights, etc
• Establish procedures for new projects and prioritization
• Develop and actively leverage all best practice templates, worksheets, tools (Excel trackers, etc.) to manage projects actively and efficiently, deadlines, and interdependencies
• Keep track of account financial performance and account scope with different reporting and forecasting - lead the development and approval workflow of Statements of Work with Finance, Legal, and Account teams
• Direct internal team on daily project deliverables
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, various agencies, and manage vendors on the development of different scopes of work for digital, social, marketing and PR campaigns
• Identify opportunities and provide additional clarity around future account hiring needs
• Exceed client expectations while managing different workstreams, keeping cost, scheduling, and quality in mind
• Have a clear understanding of projects from initial launch, and find inspired solutions without compromising quality or work or budget parameters
• Help team manage on-boarding process
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of team roles and responsibilities and new hire process
• Join client meeting and communication regarding SOW, deliverables, budgets, reporting, project overviews and timelines
• Capture and compile key information for case studies and award submissions
• Communicate status updates, next steps, ownership, and other tasks to deliver best in class results to client

Qualifications

• Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc),
• A minimum of 6+ years of project management experience within a PR or advertising/creative agency or consulting company
• Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to speak knowledgeable with high-level executives internally and externally
• Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive (not waiting for instructions) with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced and continually changing environment; a confident self-starter
• Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others

The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $130,000 - 150,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications.
