Job Description

The T!LT Group (T!LT) is a strategic communications agency built around a great team of talented, creative, out of the box thinkers who love what they do. What do we do, you ask? We partner with our clients to create transformative experiences and galvanize their audiences around a common vision including large scale event production, experiential marketing, and internal or external strategic communication initiatives.

We’re looking for T!LTed Thinkers™ to join our team. Specifically, we need a talented Executive Event Producer to be an engaging pied piper, team motivator and detail-oriented project and resource leader -- with experience in event production, media production, operations, budget management, project and people management, and demonstrated cutting-edge account management skills.

Who are the T!LTed Thinkers™? We are:

  • Flexible, and ready to pivot on a dime. We do mental yoga every day.
  • Strategic thinkers who aren’t afraid to take some risks.
  • Problem solvers who seek out opportunities to solve clients’ biggest issues.
  • Dreamers who think big.
  • Super fun to be around (most of the time).
  • Question-askers.
  • Doers who are full of energy and always pushing ourselves to get better.
  • A team who supports each other.
  • Storytellers who transform ideas into experiences.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Project Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to client stakeholders and ensure contractual expectations are met (budgets, deadlines, deliverables, etc.)
  • Travel as needed to support and manage client projects -- both to client office locations and project destinations (primarily but not limited to the continental US)
  • Keep cross-functional communication flowing (project status, resourcing needs, priorities, insights, improvements, etc.)
  • Partner with Account Leads, Project Leads and Finance teams to generate detailed project budgets, timelines, and formal SOWs.
  • Partner with Account and Project Leads to staff projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Oversee all client deliverables from pre-production through on-site execution and project close-out while managing all personnel and the project budget
  • Ensure the flawless delivery of experiences that will achieve established strategic & creative objectives, timelines, and financial goals.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example within the company and help drive its vision, culture, and performance
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and people management – coordinators, managers, and contractors as needed for the execution of each production
  • Collaborate with Operations to build and maintain a database of T!LTed resources including freelancers, vendors, and strategic partners
  • Mentor the bright and talented professionals working on your projects
  • Assist and coach production team members in the process of budget creation, budget management, SOW creation, and personnel management (full-time, freelance, vendors)
  • Source, establish, develop, and actively manage relationships with key vendorsand freelancers
  • Deep understanding of all resource roles, responsibilities, and individual capabilities across the agency and support others to do great work
  • Collaborate with Account Teams, Operations and Finance to project short and longer-term staffing needs through proactive planning and scheduling

What are you getting yourself into? You’ll need to:

  • Juggle and prioritize multiple requests and Zoom meetings, all the while juggling your coffee
  • Manage your work/life balance
  • Work effectively in a high-volume environment with rapid turnaround times

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Extensive knowledge of our industry, our services, our competitors, and our clients
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • You must be outgoing, fun and enjoy smiling while working under deadlines and sometimes unreasonable client requests
  • Extensive Project Management mastery is essential; proven record of accomplishment managing large and complex projects
  • Can-do spirit -- and “yes, and…” kind of person!!
  • Is YOUR glass half full?
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills
  • 8+ years of production experience and client-facing account/project management experience. Consulting, production company, experiential marketing, corporate event production or agency background preferred.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, self-motivation and a high level of organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills with C-suite executives as well as front-line employees within client organizations
  • Critical thinker who understands theT!LTvalue proposition and suite of services, acts as aT!LTBrand Ambassador, and then can effectively package appropriate solutions that intelligently meet specific client needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneDrive and general computer skills

You’ll also need, or be willing to learn really fast, most of the following:

  • A flexible schedule, with occasional weekend work – and don’t worry, we’ll give you extra time off if you work a weekend here or there!
  • Nunchuck Skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • An interest in traveling. You may have the opportunity to travel up to 25% of the time.

Why would you want to work with T!LT?

  • Discover your true potential and deliver mind-blowing results.
  • Work from home. Or someone else’s home, or Starbucks, we don’t care, but you can’t stay here. There’s no ‘here’ here. We’re everywhere.
  • Plenty of room to be creative and have fun.
  • We provide health and benefits that are some of the best in the business (seriously!)
  • Opportunity to grow and advance.
  • A great team to work with and learn from.
