Job Summary


The Executive Assistant, Impact & Operations (EA) will provide full administrative support to the Chief Impact Officer (CIO) on the Impact and Operations (I&O) Team and Director, REDI Change Learning Journey with additional limited administrative support for two additional directors. The EA will also provide general scheduling support to the larger I&O Team. The EA will be based in Washington DC, New York or Atlanta area, and will have a hybrid work schedule.


The Impact and Operations team is focused on supporting the entire organization to be more effective and increase the impact on core areas through Events and Experiences, Learning and Knowledge, Grantee Capacity Support, REDI Change and Operations.


Responsibilities


Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


  • Support the Director, REDI Change Learning Journey with administrative support to include calendar management, travel logistics coordination, and monthly expense reports
  • Routinely performing a wide variety of assigned support duties
  • Attending meetings with the CIO, taking notes of discussions; drafting meeting minutes, and frequently converting them into high level agenda/ action-items
  • Drafting emails, presentations, letters, memos, and proactively assisting the CIO in preparing for upcoming meetings and deadlines
  • Assist with coordinating I&O team retreats, to include researching and booking flights, hotels, and assisting with agenda planning
  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating cross-org meetings, activities and special events for various directors on the I&O Team
  • Providing full administrative support to the Chief Impact Officer (CIO), with particular focus on intricate scheduling and calendar management, booking domestic and international travel and completing monthly expense reports
  • Some travel is required
  • Serving as the gatekeeper and routinely updating the CIO on all time-sensitive matters that require prioritization, ensuring appropriate and timely follow-up

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience using technology and possessing a thorough knowledge of: (a) modern office practices and procedures; (b) the use of office machines, equipment and software; (c) Microsoft Office suite proficiency; and (d) comfort with web skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates an extreme level of confidentiality
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary to develop cooperative working relationships across departments
  • A high degree of flexibility to meet deadlines for projects while responding quickly to many individual requests related to scheduling
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience supporting C-suite or Executive Leadership Members


Compensation


Competitive hiring range of $80,000-$93,000 based on experience and Schusterman’s commitment to internal equity. A strong benefits package is also included. Schusterman encourages ongoing professional development and supports activities aligned with one’s individual career growth plan. Schusterman does not cover relocation expenses for this position.
