What you’ll be doing...
Our in-house agency in Verizon's Creative Marketing Group brings together some of the industry’s sharpest minds across a multitude of disciplines, creating an integrated team to be responsive and innovative across every Verizon touchpoint.
- Understanding organizational policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate decision-making protocols are followed.
- Managing the Directors' Travel arrangements and proactively coordinating the pre-planning of trips with various internal functions, including arranging appropriate visas, agendas, necessary contacts, and additional pertinent information.
- Managing the daily schedule of the Directors, ensuring that they know the schedule 24 hours in advance, and adapting the schedule around conflicts when necessary.
- Ensuring that various administrative tasks are done in an effective and efficient manner, preparing travel requests and expense reports.
- Handling confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
- Preparing meeting agendas in advance, assisting with and providing research/background information, content development, and creation of presentations.
- Acting as the Directors' representative and ambassador to external constituents as directed.
- Anticipating the Directors' needs and proactively bringing together appropriate people and resources to support the executive.
- Process and maintain expenses for the Directors.
- Developing and maintaining a system that alerts for upcoming deadlines on incoming requests or events.
- Managing external contacts for our Directors, proactively understanding who they are, which priority contacts are, and keeping track of periodic communication needed for priority contacts.
- Drafting correspondence, screening phone calls when requested, and maintaining executive files as needed.
This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
- One or more years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting large teams.
- Ability to stay focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities.
- Professional demeanor and ability to defuse emotional situations in a calm manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
- Energetic with a “let's roll up our sleeves” attitude which is especially important in a small but growing organization.
- Experience supporting high-level Directors.
- Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Degree in business administration.
- Ability to provide after-hours and flexible support.
- Ability to work independently to achieve business goals.
- A degree.
- Experience in administrative preparation of executive presentations.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are hired into a New York work location, the compensation range for this position is between $63,000 and $117,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
