About this job
We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and highly personable individual who is adept at client communications and advancing an event. This is a full time position that will work mostly from our Brooklyn office. Working from home is also possible for much of the work. Some of the work including site visits and client meetings will be on-location throughout the city.
You’re an ideal candidate if you have at least three years of experience with:
- Audiovisual technical equipment. For instance, experience setting up and operating Audio (mics, mixers, speakers), Video (projection, screens, TVs), Broadcast (cameras, switchers, streaming encoders), Lighting (conventionals, LEDs, controllers), and simple Rigging (pipe, truss); but don’t let it deter you if you don’t have experience with all of these things.
- Coordinating equipment, crew, sub-rentals, and sub-vendors.
- Communicating with clients to understand and manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Understanding client needs, translating them into quotes, and value-engineering as needed.
- Advancing shows, particularly live events (ie: corporate events, panels, galas) and streaming/broadcast events.
- Managing complex schedules and priorities.
