The Data Project Coordinator will work with our data and analytics teams to communicate data issues and discrepancies identified by the team and will be responsible for documentation associated with these issues. This individual will develop and maintain project documents, including Smartsheets, Excel spreadsheets, and slide decks to track new and ongoing initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Smartsheets in accordance with any applicable details.
- Monitor incoming emails and respond in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with data, analytics, development, project management, and other teams to track internal projects and ensure proper communication across teams.
- Identify root causes for problems and propose solutions for internal and client communication.
- Provide bi-weekly reporting on data and analytics teams’ tickets to track turn times and volume.
- Develop and maintain project plans for new data and analytics projects, and proactively manage timelines.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Design and format slide decks for presentation of ongoing initiatives to management.
- Facilitate meetings with internal teams for ad-hoc requests, document call notes and relay relevant information to appropriate parties.
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
- Maintain documentation templates in accordance with Med-Metrix’ new branding.

Qualifications:
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Revenue Cycle experience preferred
- 2-3 years of Healthcare Knowledge required
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to peers, customers, and management
- Capable of making effective and timely decisions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
- Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
