About the Role:
The People Department is instrumental in delivering the HUSA mission and strategy and we’re seeking a Director, People Business Partner to join the team. The Director provides strategic HR partnership to the Corporate Functions teams (HR, Legal, Operations, Corporate Affairs, Digital & Technology and Finance) working directly with senior leaders to promote a performance driven culture, provide the coaching and tools to unlock our people’s potential, and foster an inclusive workplace. The right person for this role is solution oriented, data driven and can flex between strategy work and detailed process execution. The Director reports to the Chief People Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages annual HR processes for assigned client groups including, but not limited to, performance management, calibration, succession planning, talent planning, compensation, benefits enrollment and employee engagement surveys
- Works cross-functionally with legal, corporate affairs and other teams to deliver solutions for the business.
- Coaches and challenges leaders to inspire and unlock potential and performance across people and teams
- Ensures leaders and managers are developing talent with the right capabilities to meet current and future business needs
- Use data and analytics to determine where to focus, when to make changes and how to measure impact
- Participates in regular People Business Partner and People Team Department meetings to problem solve, plan, and share learnings/achievements/best practices in a collaborative environment
- Partners with other people team functions in a broad range of areas such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, learning & organizational development, inclusion & diversity, data & analytics, compliance, immigration counsel, and relocation, to provide a consistent and best practice approach in providing support to internal customers
- Advises and counsels managers on performance and conflict resolutions
- Challenge the business to continuously evaluate the best allocation of resources, though organizational design, ways of working, and vacancy management
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues (e.g., employee litigation, redundancy, redeployment, employee terminations) and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Implements HR programs and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and the development of HR within the company
- Strategic HR Business Partner to the Management Team Members of the Corporate Function teams (5 MT Members)
- Partners with senior leaders, managers and individual employees on delivering proactive HR solutions, based on data and insights, to meet strategic business needs
- Champions our Must Have Culture, embeds I&D initiatives and fosters an inclusive work environment
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to flex between strategic thinking and flawless execution of HR processes
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to use judgment in resolving complex business and people challenges
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5-10 years relevant HR Business Partnering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience using SuccessFactors a plus
- Business partnering experience in CPG industry and/or supporting commercial/field sales teams
- Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management experience
- Knowledge of US labor laws and landscape

- Base Salary Range: $150,000-$165,000 + Annual Performance Bonus
