BODYARMOR is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team.

This role is based in our New York City based Headquarters (in Whitestone Queens), in-office TWR only, and some travel expected. As a key contributor to BASN’s growth, you will be responsible for fostering a thriving culture, committed to our mantra of EMPOWERMENT for growth. You will collaborate with leaders across the company to ensure the right talent, structure, culture, and processes are in place for positive and sustained impact. You will work closely with Field Sales, Customer Sales, Executive Leadership and People & Culture team to develop the strategies to empower and unleash the potential of our fantastic employees in the field!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ignite Learning and Performance: Lead game-changing People-led initiatives that amplify the skills and expertise of our Field Team. From crafting immersive onboarding experiences to spearheading personalized learning journeys, you'll be the architect of continuous improvement.
  • Forge Career Pathways: Collaborate closely with our leaders to mold individual development plans and career trajectories. Your insights will shape the annual talent review process, and coach our teams and leaders towards continuous improvement and empowerment for growth.
  • Be the Coach: Empower managers to build and lead successful teams, including supporting all things talent development and performance improvement. When challenges arise, your expertise will guide investigations and resolutions of all employee-relations issues. You will be the day-to-day “go-to” for all field employees to get guidance or support related to performance, succession planning, transformation management, and mediation.
  • Cultivate Engagement: Collaborate with our People & Culture team and BASN leadership to fuel a culture of engagement. You'll champion initiatives that spark passion, innovation, and a shared sense of purpose within the Field Team and across the organization.
  • Resource and Reporting Guru: Maintain familiarity with and support BASN benefits, policies & procedures. Manage reporting and analytics for your business unit via all HR-oriented systems i.e., ADP, for metrics related to PTO, compensation, working hours, attrition, diversity demographics, etc. to contribute to the development of data-informed People & Culture-led strategic initiatives.
  • Document Management: Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of various HR-related documents, including our HR Policies & Procedures, People & Culture form documents, and Field Team reporting. Identify and analyze People & Culture trends and metrics to provide insights and guidance on employee performance, engagement, turnover, and productivity, to drive employee retention, development and overall success.
  • Celebrate Diversity: Foster an environment that values diversity in all forms-- experience, thought, & background.
  • Travel as needed to provide training, counseling, or other support to field team, and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong communication skills, and ability to coach, influence, and educate all levels of the organization with confidence and integrity, and ensuring those employees you support are and feel heard and supported.
  • Expertise in HR competencies (including Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Sourcing) required
  • 5 years of Human Resource Business Partner or Manager experience required
  • Embody the BASN values of collaboration, positivity, creativity, resilience, and belief that with hard work, nothing is out of reach
  • Must be knowledgeable of Federal and State employment laws, employee relations (investigation skills), HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation.
  • Experience with leading, coaching and developing people in a high performing team environment (ex: performance management)
  • Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 annually -Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Ability to unearth, identify, and translate employee feedback to tactics aimed to promote workplace engagement and employee retention.
  • Bachelors degree required
