Director of Talent & Culture **Relo Candidates Welcome**

Our client, a luxury hotel in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Director of Talent & Culture to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of HR Director-level experience or above, with a focus on culture crafting and HR leadership, preferably in the hospitality industry. The Director of Talent & Culture will be responsible for leading an HR team in goals, objectives, and systems, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the HR team to deliver high-quality services to all levels of the organization, with a focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, performance management, training and development, and compliance.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct wage and benefits surveys to ensure market competitiveness and make recommendations for adjustments.
• Monitor and create plans for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations in an HR environment, including but not limited to, EEO, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and OSHA.
• Prepare and file annual HR-related reports, such as EEO-1, VETS-4212, and Affirmative Action Plans.
• Maintain and utilize HRIS systems to track and report on employee data, including but not limited to, turnover, demographics, and performance metrics.
• Stay current with the latest technology in Human Resources and make recommendations for implementation.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including but not limited to, employee relations, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
• Foster a positive and inclusive culture by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the organization.
• Some travel required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of HR Director-level experience or above, with culture crafting and HR leadership experience working directly with employees/associates.
• Experience in leading an HR team in goals, objectives, and systems.
• Experience in filing annual HR-related reports.
• Experience monitoring and creating plans for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations in an HR environment.
• Strong technical skills in order to research and utilize the latest technology in Human Resources.
• Experience in using HRIS systems; tracking and reporting experience required.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that will include some weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Hospitality or service industry operations experience, luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
