As the Director of Strengthening, you will provide leadership and direction to the Strengthening Team, Branch CSS Field Engineers and Engineering R&D and guide our alliance with Structural Technologies. You will also directly lead personnel directly responsible for key growth initiatives in your market segment.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)


Manage Market Development Managers & Coordinators in the Strengthening Segment. (30%)


Coordinating with Branch CSS Field Engineers to achieve sales targets through sharing of best practices and monitoring of key performance indicators, providing field support and training, clearly communicating field needs to engineering, product management, marketing and operations, assist in the development of consistent Strengthening Playbook. Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among market segment members and the organization. (25%)


Act as the main point of contact to Structural Technologies as an Alliance Partner to develop short and long term strategies and ensure lead generation and project management. (20%)


Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, and inventory control to establish and maintain consistent flow of required material to meet the project needs. (5%)


Review and analyze product sales at the regional/national level to identify trends, needs and opportunities. (5%)


Plan sales management review meeting and annual Alliance sales/strategy meeting. (5%)


Determine best compensation plans to drive performance. (5%)


Desired Skills And Experience

  • Leadership: ability to adapt leadership style to a variety of situations
  • Ideally a PE (Professional Engineer) or SE (Structural Engineer)
  • Mathematical Reasoning: ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Accountability & Dependability: ability to hold self and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results
  • Driving Record: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required
  • Speaking: ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Required.
  • Problem Solving: ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner
  • Customer Focus: ability to recognize adverse customer reactions and develops better alternatives
  • Staff Management: ability to ensure staff have the skills and resources to get things done
  • Analysis/Reasoning: ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • 5-7 years related experience and/or training
  • Writing: ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Attention to Detail: ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks
  • 5 years managing others
  • Reading Comprehension: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations


Travel Required


This job requires domestic/international travel approximately 50% of the time.


WORK STATUS & LOCATION


This full-time, exempt position is can be remote or at a branch location. Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.


RELOCATION


Relocation will not be considered for this position.


PAY


$ 131,500.00 - $ 177,500.00 / Year.
