to analyze the complexities of disability management claims and make

recommendations that are mutually beneficial to all parties involved; this

often includes the know-how to work collaboratively with HR, general

counsel, safety, employee relations, unions, insurance companies,

and/or outside vendors to resolve pending claims.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience managing complex

disability management or liability programs and claims, which involves

overseeing staff and external stakeholder groups to determine the extent

of legal obligations, developing settlement strategies, and evaluating the

financial implications of possible courses of action.

Further, he/she will have a strong customer service orientation to help

provide assistance throughout the claims process, while effectively

addressing any potential conflicts that may arise.
