Director of Ecommerce Distribution

One of the most exciting, fast-growing, and most talked about DTC companies in America, is now looking to hire a new Director of Distribution to oversee their Flagship Warehouse in Southern California. This role will be the most senior position at the site, plus take accountability for day2day tactical operations, as well as being tasked with Leadership strategic activities such as succession planning, transformational change, driving culture and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with senior and executive management in delivery and development of operational strategy
  • Collaborate with the tech team to constantly improve systems and maximize warehousing efficiencies in line with company’s customer service SLAs to end customers
  • Deliver long-term operational plans and budgetary performance goals
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of direct reports
  • Drive operational efficiency via deep process analysis and data-driven decision making
  • Improve and sophisticate tactical operations within the Distribution Center

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Strong process improvement & cost saving accomplishments
  • Experience with managing teams of direct reports
  • Ecommerce/DTC experience (highly preferred, but not 100% essential)
  • 5+ years Warehousing & Distribution experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
