This role is a hybrid remote position with 30% required travel. The pay range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 a year base pay plus bonus, based on your experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation and sick time.
As the Director of Security System Operations, your role is to oversee the planning, implementation, and successful execution of security system projects within IntraLogic Solutions.
Your responsibilities may include the following:
- Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report project status to stakeholders. Identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plan promptly.
- Implementation and Integration: Oversee the installation and integration of security systems, such as access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and systems.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify potential security vulnerabilities and threats. Determine appropriate security measures and technologies to mitigate risks.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, including cost estimation, resource allocation, and procurement of necessary equipment and technologies. Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
- Team Coordination: Assemble and lead a project team consisting of security specialists, technicians, engineers, and other relevant personnel. Define roles and responsibilities, facilitate communication, and ensure effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Define and enforce quality standards for security system installations. Conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and other relevant parties. Provide updates on project milestones, risks, and changes in project scope.
- Vendor Management: Identify and select suitable vendors or contractors for security system installations or integration. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training programs, SOP’s and materials for end-users and staff members to ensure proper utilization and maintenance of security systems. Create comprehensive project documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Security industry installation and technology experience is a must.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) a plus
- Experience in WeSuite: Security Sales Automation Software and/or SedonaOffice software a plus.
- Minimum Experience: at least 4 to 7 years’ experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain by adapting to change.
- Experienced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel skills.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of structuring and managing proposals.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to be patient and outgoing with people.
- Highly motivated, results focused and acts with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to multitask, think strategically, problem solve and collaborate with team members.
- Help CEO to scale the business.
