Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for deep analysis of workflow and processes of the Virtual Care Unit (VCU) and influencing direct reports and management. This role navigates and optimizes operations for any care model under the VCU and collaborates with a variety of teams, departments, and stakeholders to implement new business models. The Senior Director also:

• Collaborates with market leadership, such as VP of Market Operations, VP of Market Clinical Operations, market Directors of Operations, and market clinical leaders, to gain support for centralized initiatives and to deliver service pursuant to company initiatives.
• Establishes, implements, and has oversight for the most effective operational strategies and approaches to meet clinical, strategic, and financial targets for the VCU.
• Establishes and is responsible for annual financial budget for VCU.
• Establishes, maintains, and manages relationships with VCU vendors that will serve patients.
• Collaborates with Contessa's Chief Medical Officer and SVP Operations to develop and implement new VCU initiatives.
• Ensures delivery of quality care during an acute care, post-acute care, or palliative episode pursuant to the company's clinical models through oversight of and collaboration with VCU staff and VCU senior clinical leaders.
• Leads implementation of VCU processes with health system partners and payors.
• Develops and analyzes KPIs to support operational metrics for business and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
• Ten (10+) years of healthcare leadership experience and five (5+) years of management responsibility, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Three (3+) years of experience leading virtual care or call center teams, with demonstrated ability to set up new teams and navigate complexity across payors, providers, and health systems.
