Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
As a Director of Information Security, you will direct all efforts relating to our organization's cybersecurity program, ensuring that data, infrastructure, and intellectual property are effectively protected against threats.
- Work with the CTO and development team to evaluate and remediate vulnerabilities in software and cloud environment configuration; and implement practices and technologies to identify issues in the future
- Develop and manage roadmaps and operational goals for the information security department.
- Identify and manage security risks and incidents; develop mitigation and escalation strategies.
- Work closely with senior management to inform and align the cybersecurity strategy with organizational goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
- Monitor advancements in information security technologies; establish and maintain relationships with external security experts and vendors.
- Lead the information security team, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical expertise.
- Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the implementation and management of security technologies and vendor partnerships.
- Lead security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and board members on the state of information security in the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate complex security topics to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, etc.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
