Position: Director of Security and Infrastucture

Location: Salt Lake City Metro, Utah (Hybrid)

Term: Full time position

Compensation: $160 - $200K + benefits

Status: US Citizen/US Permanent Resident only

This Director level position will be conducting and planning, strategy, and overall management and administration of IT infrastructure operations and functions including hardware platforms, etc, focus will be centered on building and delivering an IT infrastructure that is: secure, stable, scalable, maintainable, and flexible.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience leading IT infrastructure and operations in a critical high-volume environment preferred.
• Should have over 5 years of experience working with global companies and/or with international responsibilities
• More than 10 years of experience overseeing infrastructure and data security.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering (MS Preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Security certifications will set you apart, but are not required.
• Exceptional knowledge of Active Directory, Office365, Wintel Servers, Linux Servers, Azure/AWS hosting, virtualization and physical hardware, data storage, data backups, virtual desktop, and desktop engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of general principles of finance, budget, ITIL, project management, systems development lifecycle, and data security.

DUTIES

• Determine the technology strategy, vision, and roadmap for Infrastructure, Operations, and Security to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategy, focused on enhancing the digital business strategy.
• Oversees information security audits, penetration tests, and similar and ensures remediation of gaps in a timely manner
• Lead to identify relevant emerging technologies and introduce innovation to deliver differentiated infrastructure and operations capabilities that differentiate the company in the marketplace.
• Director will define, develop, and manage a comprehensive and integrated IT Service Management (ITSM) landscape, leveraging best practices, disciplines, and related toolsets.
• Modify IT resilience by executing strategies that improve reliability, tolerability, and disaster recovery readiness, while balancing our risk tolerance and cost constraints.
• Set up standard processes and policies that are maintained and executed by internal and external partners, ensuring we operate a formal governance process to monitor effective controls. Supports periodic reviews by audit teams, compliance teams, and other risk-related functions as required.
