About the Role
Join one of America’s fastest growing companies! They’re looking for an experienced, sales-oriented Director of Sales (DOS) to join their fast-growing team. The Director of Sales is accountable for fostering the growth and development of a successful sales team focusing attention and effort across two key areas: people and strategy.
People
- Managing people involves forming and leading an effective sales team as well as creating a team culture that values positive relationships, high productivity, and flexibility to meet the needs of the clients, all while achieving the financial goals of the business. The Director of Sales (DOS) continuously monitors and evaluates the team’s need for talent to ensure the right people are staffed to achieve company goals while serving as a leader, providing coaching and feedback frequently to drive the performance of the individuals on the team.
Strategy
- A successful DOS is a strategic business leader looking at the bigger picture and is constantly engaged in decision-making and problem-solving. Decisions made by the Director of Sales have both immediate and long-term effects on the company.
In this role, you will
- Conduct weekly sales meetings and daily huddles to keep the team focused and on task
- Develop a talent bench of future leaders
- Develop systems to make the office run efficiently
- Maintain strong relationships with the leadership team and sales team
- Train, coach, and hold direct reports accountable
- Build relationships with the Board of Realtors and agents in the community
- Meet mutually agreed upon transaction goals established with the leadership team
- Minimize turnover through effective coaching and weekly accountability sessions
They’re looking for a leader who has
- Focus on an exceptional client experience
- 2+ years of real estate experience (Property management, homebuilding, residential, buyer or commercial)
- Have, or have the ability to obtain a Real Estate License(s)
- High level of enthusiasm and thrives under pressure
- Strong decision-making skills and a sense of urgency
- Understand financial data and display ownership for profits and losses Look to continue to improve upon the status quo and create efficiencies
- Will drive results by adding value
- Passion for growing a business
- Skilled at using data to analyze recruiting trends and gaps, diagnose challenges, and develop solutions to improve recruiting
- Can emphasize excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accountable for transaction goals
- Proven success in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading/managing people, building, and leading a team and resource planning to support the hiring plan of the company
- 3+ years of demonstrated sales leadership experience

- Compensation will be a combination of base salary and (uncapped) quarterly incentives with a target OTE of $200,000
