Job Description

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing Tuxton's sales activities and teams within the central United States. Their primary goal is to drive revenue growth, meet sales targets, and ensure the overall success of the sales operations in this region.


Responsibilities:


1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the region that aligns with the company's overall sales objectives and targets.

2. Sales Team Management: train and manage a team of sales representatives within the region. Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to maximize their performance and achieve sales goals.

3. Revenue Generation: Set sales targets for the region and monitor sales performance. Implement strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.

4. Territory Management: Establish sales goals for the territory and allocate resources effectively to optimize coverage and market penetration.

5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners within the region. Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities within the region. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

7. Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, productivity, and sales effectiveness within the region.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product management, and customer service to ensure alignment and support the overall business objectives.

9. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the region. Provide market feedback to support product development and marketing strategies.


Qualifications:


1. Sales Experience: Several years of experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Previous experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.

2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape within the region.

3. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

4. Results-Orientation: Demonstrated ability to set and achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and monitor sales performance.

5. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and senior management.

6. Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a focus on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

7. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, industry trends, and organizational priorities.

8. Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required. Relevant industry certifications or advanced degrees can be advantageous. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
