Job Description
The cloud continues to experience non-linear, double-digit growth, and the NVIDIA cloud sales team is looking for a Global Head of Business Development to lead and scale the adoption of NVIDIA’s solutions on the AWS cloud. In this highly visible new role, the Global Head of Business Development will build a co-sell sales strategy with AWS. We seek an upbeat leader with the domain expertise and tenacity to grow market share with NVIDIA's groundbreaking cloud solutions; success will be measured by direct and influential revenue growth with AWS.


As the Global Head of Business Development, you will collaborate with customers and partners to apply NVIDIA solutions to transform industries. Working closely with senior business development, product, and sales leadership to build a pipeline to grow cloud revenue. This role is an exciting opportunity to be an inspiring leader with a vision in AI, crafting a go-to-market motion with AWS and supporting cross-functional teams to grow NVIDIA’s cloud business. What You'll Be Doing


  • Stay up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • In collaboration with AWS sales organization, grow direct and influence the revenue of NVIDIA solutions in the cloud
  • Serve as the dedicated resource who understands NVIDIA hardware, software, and services available on AWS and supports private offers through the marketplace
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management and sell-in team
  • Working closely with AWS sales to build a mutually beneficial GTM plan for the partnership
  • Drive vertical alignment between industry business development teams to solve problems with NVIDIA solutions for strategic accounts
  • Establish effective relationships with NVIDIA’s partner network to drive services that pull through NVIDIA solutions on AWS
  • Run AWS deal registration and pipeline to meet assigned sales targets
  • Work with NVIDIA and AWS’s marketing teams on event planning (GTC, AWS annual conferences, etc.) and customer use case collateral development (blogs, whitepapers, webinars) to stimulate demand and support industry events
  • In partnering with AWS sales, qualify leads generated by joint market development activities, then connect with the appropriate NVIDIA account managers to drive field-based engagements


What We Need To See


  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with leading and closing sophisticated deals and encouraging partner alliances
  • 15+ years of selling technical solutions to senior executives at named accounts
  • Proven track record closing significant revenue and overachieving sales targets
  • 5+ years of experience leading & empowering a virtual team (and helping recruit the best talent)
  • Drive and manage the quarterly business on assigned sales targets
  • Confirmed ability to work optimally in a highly matrixed organization
  • A passion for getting things done in a sales and technology environment
  • A wide network with vertical expertise and knowledge of cloud sales trends
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically, and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal)


Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd


  • Demonstrated track record of successfully growing revenue for new innovative technology-based solutions
  • A strong curiosity about understanding new technologies and adept at conveying their value to business executives and software development leaders.
  • Experience working with ISVs and System Integrators to accelerate solution adoption and deployment.
  • Detailed understanding of data science workflows, machine learning, and AI trends
  • Specific experience and relationships within AWS
  • Master's degree is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communication that conveys sophisticated concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way

The cash compensation range is $264,000 - $402,500, with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
