Summary

The Director of Foodservice is responsible for establishing and maintaining clients and expanding the business into new territories, developing new customers, and overseeing growth with existing customers.

Key Activities

• Create and build partner (Client/Vendor) relationships.
• Control shrinks and expenses
• Build and direct an external sales team to work with the Client Services team in bringing in new business and Clients.
• Periodically review trends and recommend/initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
• Provide excellent client satisfaction.
• Support existing clients with new/additional requirements
• Explore and propose new revenue opportunities
• Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales/profits and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
• Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels
• Attending presentations, conferences, and client meetings when necessary
• Develop and build a marketing strategy with the VP of National Sales, CSO, and Advisory Board to ensure the achievement of financial targets.
• Expand customer base and increase sales on fresh cut lines within the food service segment including but not limited to restaurant chains, distributions, processors, retailers, schools, and country clubs.

Preferred Skills

• Customer service driven
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of spreadsheet software essentials
• Able to multi-task

Educations & Experience

• Must display working competency in generally accepted accounting principles.
• Must be PC literate
• Must have some knowledge of the internet and website design
• Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
