WHAT THIE ROLE DOES:

• Develop and support standardization of hiring and training methodology, quality control methods, and other tools to improve overall manufacturing and operations management
• Help to recruit, develop and manage new production, warehousing and shipping employees
• Assist to ensure that all safety requirements are being met
• Primary responsibility for overall plant and production management in partnership with VP Operations
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver lean and process improvements, equipment and personnel upgrades, among other initiatives, to foster growth, improve customer satisfaction and continually increase efficiencies
• Ensure that plant has the capacity to deliver products on-time and in full per forecasts and demand trends
• Develop and track quarterly and annual goals that align with the company’s strategies
• Ensure production orders are being completed as per expectations, processes are being adhered to, and resources are managed efficiently

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Ideally 7-15 years of experience in manufacturing
• Detailed knowledge of plant operations in a higher-growth, well-managed company
• Bachelors degree
