Gelia, a top 10 B2B marketing communications agency in the US, is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Engagement to join our marketing agency. As the Director of Engagement, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that engage and build relationships with our target audience. You will lead a team responsible for social media, content marketing, and contribute to our omnichannel strategy.
We’re seeking someone who can make tweets so hilarious that they’ll make our clients ROFL. We need someone who knows their memes from their GIFs, their hashtags from their handles, and their posts from their stories. Someone who can whip up engaging content faster than Gordon Ramsay can say “where’s the lamb sauce?”. And most importantly, someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and knows how to make the workday fun.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for managing and creating content for all social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in engagement marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to measure the success of our engagement strategies and adjust them as necessary to optimize performance.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies across channels including social media, experiential, and content marketing.
- Contribute to the development and execution of our omnichannel marketing strategy, ensuring that all channels are working together seamlessly to deliver a consistent and compelling customer experience.
- Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling content that aligns with our clients’ brands and resonates with their target audiences.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading and managing a team of marketing professionals.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on social media, engagement, and content marketing.
- Experience across wide range of social media channels including, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and social management/listening platforms such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Mention, Hootsuite, Khoros, and Percolate
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior presentation, communication, organizational and time management skills, with experience presenting to Senior and VP-level executives
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing engagement strategies that drive business results.
- Experience with experiential marketing, social search, social PR a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in creating engaging content for distribution across various channels.
