Director of Nursing - RN – Maternity - Days

In this role you'll lead our multidisciplinary team in caring for our patients. The Director is responsible for the clinical and administrative management of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Neonatal ICU and Pediatric Departments. You will plan, coordinate, and direct activities of assigned Clinical Nursing Service to ensure effective department management and quality of patient care in compliance with regulatory requirements and established standards of care.

This is a full-time day shift position at New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

• Management experience in L&D, Postpartum, NICU and/or Pediatrics

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Masters in Nursing or related field
• At least 5 years of Nursing leadership experience
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Current New York State RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
