Job Description

A CourtAvenue Group Director, Client Operations takes ownership of their projects to ensure products and services are successfully delivered (e.g. against scope, cost, time, quality) and maintained through the application of program management methodologies and business operations. The Group Director will be responsible for upholding processes for Project Management teams while mentoring and training team members. The Director will be responsible for project and program delivery across initiatives that are strategic and complex in their nature. This leader will be responsible for the definition, implementation and evolution of business processes, continuous improvement activities in line with the PMO.


The Group Director, Client Operations will lead the process for communication, project, product and development lifecycles across the organization. This role will lead scopes, cost estimation, risk and resolution, status reporting process, and ensure that the team meets their commitments.


Responsibilities

  • Ability to think and act strategically on client business to drive growth in partnership with Account Management
  • Develop and use disciplined processes to successfully scope, plan, create contracts and deliver complete projects and programs in line with Client Operations
  • Understand key business and technology drivers behind estimating and delivery, working closely with internal departments.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for project teams and helps to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, execute mitigation plans, develop detailed plans, perform resource allocations
  • Support portfolio management and the prioritization and utilization of resources for each initiative while understanding the pipeline of work
  • Ensure there is a consistent application of project and program management methodologies, controls and standards
  • Clear ability to ensure project reporting is accurate and on time
  • Lead the Directors on the Client Operations team and assist in growing the many project and program managers, to foster a highly innovative, effective, and successful team
  • Contribute to new business and pitch initiatives to secure a pipeline of work for the broader initiative
  • Ensure a collaborative ‘one team’ approach of both client and agency
  • Develop contracts and design innovative delivery teams to best meet and exceed program objectives


Requirements

  • 12+ years of analyst, project management, program management, technical, and/or business experience
  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies, specifically Scrum
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Agency experience is required
  • Excellence in organization and management; conscientious, and skilled at solving issues at all project levels while supporting colleagues and clients
  • Significant experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring teams


Work Environment

  • CourtAvenue has office locations in Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Austin and San Diego. Candidates in these hub locations will have access to a hybrid work environment.
