Job Description

Our client boasts a thriving, expansive business with a modest workforce. They are are seeking candidates with prior background working for distinguished consulting firms including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, L.E.K. Consulting, EY-Parthenon, and Booz Allen Hamilton.


Candidates should have experience in in one or more of the following domains:

  • Consulting Research: Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research within a consulting context.
  • Primary Client Contact: Capable of serving as the main point of contact for clients.
  • Resource Allocation and Team Management: Ability to allocate resources efficiently and manage teams effectively.
  • Expectation Management: Skillful in managing client expectations, project timelines, deliverables, and leading client review processes.
  • Visual Presentation of Data: Competent in translating complex data sets into visually engaging graphics, analytical frameworks, and templates.
  • Engagement in Sales Process: Active involvement in crafting proposals as part of the sales lifecycle.
  • Insights Analysis and Reporting: Proficient in analyzing insights and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Exemplary Leadership: Demonstrates leadership qualities through personal actions and behaviors.
  • Collaboration with Project Partners: Effective communication and collaboration with project Partners on a daily basis.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities from Project Initiation to Completion May Encompass:

  • Data Compilation: Gathering quantitative data from consultants' reports, performing quantitative analysis, and providing qualitative interpretations when appropriate.
  • Report Crafting: Aiding in the creation of Executive Summary deliverables and contributing to in-depth analytical sections outlining key findings for the final report.
  • Document Quality Assurance: Managing the coordination and quality assurance of all document deliveries.
  • Template Enhancement: Development and refinement of project templates for consultants, including assignment templates, contact lists, and interview report templates.
  • Client Interaction: Scheduling, preparing materials for, and leading client calls and deliverables. Typically conducted remotely, with the possibility of on-site interactions if required.
  • Training Management: Ensuring all project-related training needs are met effectively.
  • Project Status Communication: Ensuring regular ad hoc and milestone reporting and facilitating discussions on project status.
  • Access to Client Data: Attaining access to client project information, contacts, and relevant data.
  • Internal Review and Analysis: Coordinating and leading internal reviews, formulating preliminary theses for further research.
  • Project Site Administration: Establishing, updating, and maintaining SharePoint project site(s).
  • Team Oversight: Selection of consultant teams, oversight of assignments, and provision of constructive performance feedback.
  • Performance Metrics: Assignment of quotas and implementation of the company's compensation policies and practices.
  • Expense Supervision: Overseeing project expenses and coordinating the final submission of expense reports.


This role requires a multifaceted skill set encompassing project management, client interaction, research proficiency, data analysis, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of successfully leading projects and teams within the consulting landscape.
