Overview


As the Director of Services Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Professional S ervices department. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of services and achieving business objectives . This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise , and strong leadership skills.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to effectively convey ideas, goals, and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Help establish the Professional Services department's goals with the organization's objectives and contribute to its long-term success.
  • Develop and implement the overall strategy and vision for the services operations team .
  • Act as a liaison between services operations and other stakeholders, providing insights, recommendations, and updates as required .
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • The ability to analyze complex situations, identify problems, and develop creative solutions is vital.
  • Streamline and optimize operational processes, workflows, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • A strategic mindset is necessary to develop and implement the overall vision and strategy for the services operations department.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of Professional S ervices operations.
  • The ability to provide clear direction, inspire and motivate teams, and drive performance. Strong leadership skills are crucial for establishing a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • The ability to adapt to changing business needs, handle pressure, and navigate through challenges is crucial in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Support the end-to-end service delivery process, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to automate and improve service delivery processes.
  • Implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track service performance, identify trends, and address any issues proactively in partnership with Business Operations .

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Financial Force or PSA tool preferred .
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving performance and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of service delivery processes, customer support, and operational best practices.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operational management and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with Micro soft Office Suite required .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing service operations, preferably within a similar industry or organization.
