Your New Role...
The Director of Cybersecurity Metrics and Policy is a collaborative leadership position that oversees development and maintenance of the global cybersecurity policies and standards for Warner Bros Discovery. In addition, this role closely partners with the Cybersecurity Risk Management team in development of key risk indicators (KRI’s), metrics and dashboards that are used to monitor and report on the overall state of the cybersecurity program. This role also partners with teams and leadership across Global Information & Content Security to develop key performance indicators (KPI’s) and operational metrics. This data-minded leader will have the opportunity to collect and connect additional datasets to develop new metrics and improved cybersecurity insights.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Drive the development, oversight and management of WBD’s cybersecurity Metrics and Reporting program; working closely with Governance, Risk and Operational security teams to ensure that metrics address critical risks and provide leadership and drive positive trending for KRIs and KPIs for BoD and across WBD relevant stakeholders. Assist in developing Board of Director (BoD) and Audit Committee communications
- Lead the creation, management, and communication of WBD IT Cybersecurity Policies, Standards, and baselines. Partner with Legal, Compliance and Technology & Operations teams to ensure that policies, standards, and baselines are harmonized across the enterprise. Support compliance with published documents across global WBD employee and technologies environments. Understand the “voice of the customer” and work with the IT and Business lines to ensure that policies are consistent with business needs and usage while minimizing risk.
- Maintain strong relationships, partnership, execution focus, and mutual support with other corporate/business lines, working to understand business processes, applications, projects, and technologies to ensure information security risk management objectives are delivered, and drive a cohesive view of information security risk throughout WBD. Proactive management and understanding emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques and communicating this information to leadership.
Qualifications & Experiences...
- BS/BA degree required
- Experience with Policy / Governance
- A passion for accuracy and translating insights into a compelling narrative; able to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture
- Experience authoring or leading teams that author security policies
- Familiarity with Python, specifically Pandas
- Experience measuring corporate cyber risk
- Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and GRC
- 10+ years of prior experience in a related field (media, entertainment, business development or streaming services industry experience a plus)
- Familiarity with Postgres databases
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or other data visualization tools
- Experience in developing/maturing Governance processes and procedures
- Work collaboratively w/small teams
- Superb relationship building skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
The Nice to Haves...
- Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
- Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
- Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services
- Masters in Data Science or Cybersecurity
- Experience working in a national or global company

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $130,767.00 - $242,853.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
