Job Description

The ideal candidate will use a strategic mindset to drive the future success of the organization by aligning teams under one vision. With responsibility for all program areas, this candidate will execute all areas of need for the organization including management in the following areas: fiscal, operational, program development, community relations, and board relations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential sources of investment and organize fundraising efforts.
  • Monitor operations and ensure business practices comply legal requirements.
  • Identify, recruit, train and develop a talented team of employees/contractors.
  • Collaborate with the board of Directors to identify, create, and implement strategic plans to actualize organization objectives.
  • Produce monthly ED report at Board meeting.
  • COSA strategy engagement.
  • Maintain a climate that attracts and retains a talented and diverse staff
  • Identify alternate fundraising opportunities.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization
  • Ensure all debt/business contracts paid timely.
  • Serve as the right-hand person to the Chairman of the Board.
  • Ensure financial security of the organization.
  • Provide leadership direction to all Committee Chairs.
  • Annually create a strategic organizational plan and overall budget
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and materials for board meetings
  • Identify marketing/sponsorship opportunities.
  • Execute all procurement contacts.
  • Develop a business contingency/continuity plan.
  • Create and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations to facilitate success of organization's financial future
  • Represent the organization at social and corporate events in ways that strengthen the brand and communicate the company’s message.
  • Organize annual membership meeting.
  • Coordinate all relative press releases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Adobe. Canva, Airtable and graphic design a plus.


Qualifications

  • Experience in large-scale program development
  • Successful fundraising and development experience
  • Previous management or board of director experience
