Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Educator Collective (TEC) is on a mission to keep great teachers in the classroom by transforming the way that the teaching profession is supported. Our award-winning organization currently serves over 4,000 Dallas-Fort Worth educators annually through our free professional community and district partnerships. TEC recently completed its sixth full year of programming, with evaluations once again demonstrating that educators served by TEC are significantly more likely to sustain their careers in the classroom and credit TEC with supporting their retention.

Over the past four years, TEC has won multiple awards and media recognitions for its positive impact on teacher retention and wellbeing, while also increasing its educator network eight-fold, growing annual revenues five-fold, and building a robust cash surplus and model for financial sustainability. TEC is now seeking a new, visionary Executive Director who will harness this momentum to lead TEC through its next phase of growth and impact. Our ideal candidate is a proven, mission-driven leader with a track record for funding and scaling major initiatives while maximizing impact. This position is an exciting opportunity to take a proven program model to scale while fostering educator excellence and student success across the metroplex.
