Customer Service Representative – Respiratory Intake - Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Fully Remote

Job Responsibilities

• Process inbound orders from referral sources and assist patients through various mediums
• Become proficient in using our enterprise system to accurately process new patient orders and re-orders
• Review patient records to ensure medical necessity for services ordered by physicians
• Onboard new patients and provide resupply orders to patients on service
• Perform insurance and benefit verification, including obtaining prior authorizations

Requirements

• Customer service experience in a Home Medical Equipment company or healthcare services business is acceptable
• Strongly preferred experience with patient admissions and customer service in a referral source-based practice setting
• Preferred experience with insurance payers in North and South Carolina
• Previous experience working with respiratory and enteral therapy patients, with a preference for pediatric patients
