Job Description
Job Summary and Opportunity:
Are you a creative Customer Experience writer? Come join our growing team! This role supports our Marketing, Communications, Consumer Deposits, and UX teams. Write engaging and clear consumer content for enrollment screens, mobile app, chatbot and SMS, IVR, web pages, emails, personal finance articles, blog posts, social media, print media, and video scripts. We are looking for a self-starter and team player with strong writing skills who is eager to learn. Collaborate with other writers and teams. Help shape our marketing content and customer experience strategy to support business growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer feedback, sentiment, and social engagement metrics, and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Write and edit clear, engaging, well-written content for digital enrollment screens, chat, SMS, IVR, online banking, blog articles, and mobile app messaging
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and tone and .expand our messaging for various customer personas
  • Draw on industry best practices, current events and trends, customer needs, and company objectives to generate ideas for engaging content that provides a best-in-class customer experience
  • Manage and track a heavy workload of multiple projects while juggling shifting priorities
  • Work closely with marketing specialists, business unit leaders and members of the marketing, UI/UX and communications teams
  • Complete drafts/edits of content and finished projects within deadlines
Requirements:
  • Work well independently and in meeting tight writing deadlines
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • 5+ years writing content for digital and print media
  • Experience writing a mix of SMS and mobile app content, chatbot messaging, marketing emails, advertising copy, web pages, thought leadership, and professional blog posts or news articles
  • Consumer, B2B, UX, and business content writing
  • Expert grammar, punctuation, and writing best practices
  • MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Proven track record of writing and researching a variety of topics with various personas
  • Exceptionally high-quality communication standards and attention to detail
  • CMS and AP Stylebooks familiarity
  • Project management and coaching skills
Preferred:
  • Financial services or personal finance
  • Customer experience communications
  • Writing about small business banking, consumer deposits, and financial topics
  • Business journalism

A targeted annual base salary of USD $65,000Yr. - USD $75,000/Yr. based on the experience, skills, and education/certification required for this position. Eligibility for a discretionary semi-annual incentive compensation plan, based upon performance, payable in cash and/or share grants (RSU’s) that may vest over time. The annual discretionary target bonus percentage is up to 20%.
