Job Description

MUST HAVE:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in UX writing
  • Experience in AR/VR
  • Figma
  • Conceptualizing different deliverables - flexible, understand how to approach the work, how to communicate with their partners, look at UXR Research, apply their thinking to meet needs of the team


Seeking an experienced UX writer to support a content design team working on developing the next generation of wearables. Your work will contribute to advancing the current version of our wearables products that will make people more connected, and empowered in the world as they capture and share all of life’s fleeting experiences, while staying present in the moment.


Responsibilities


  • Design new UX concepts and ideas that align with the overall product vision and user needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve current features and ux flows.
  • Support beta, dogfooding and other launch-related activities to continuously improve your work.
  • Contribute to user testing plans and integrate learnings in design flows.
  • Deliver content on time and inline with project team milestones.
  • Develop internal processes and document standards and practices to create efficiency and enable the team to scale their support.
  • Engage closely with Design, Product Marketing and Engineering teams to ensure that new features or modifications to current product features are optimized for performance and meet technical requirements.

  • You have experience influencing product and design decisions, understanding the downstream impact on messaging and clarity of language.
  • You can prioritize strategically to carve your path through the work, sizing different efforts and focusing your time based on need and impact.
  • Experience in VR, AR or smart glasses technology is not a requirement but a huge plus.
  • Team player with exceptional time management, communication, grammar and writing skills are expected.
  • Creative mindset and future-forward thinking is desired.
  • You know when to focus on the big picture and when to focus on the details.
  • You continuously research and stay up-to-date on AR technologies and trends to inform design decisions.
  • You can think outside of the box on how to apply localization and accessibility frameworks to new content formats.
  • You’re a strong systems thinker and UX practitioner and have experience building design and interaction systems.
  • You have a point of view and are comfortable making your best guess when there are no rules to follow. But use good judgment, intuition and recommendations backed by a clear rationale.
  • You can grasp new and emerging concepts quickly and develop a strategy that meets the needs of your target audience.
  • You can go beyond the words to conceptualize different deliverables like competitive audits, user scenarios, user journey maps and visual direction.
  • You enjoy working in undefined spaces. Ambiguity makes you want to jump in, not run away.
