Cto And Cofounder For Mental Healh Startup With Traction

We are a startup with over 1 million registered users, seeking a CTO to join us as a co-founder. This role is suited for an entrepreneurial full-stack developer who values contributing to a meaningful project over conventional employment.

We started our journey 10 years ago with a social app that paired individuals based on IQ and personality tests. This company we sold 8 years ago but recently reacquired it. We are relaunching it with a renewed focus on promoting mental wellbeing through self-help groups. We have a robust team of psychologists, engineers, designers, project managers, and marketers and our community continues to grow, with 30,000 new sign-ups each month.

As our co-founder and CTO, you will:

• Drive key decisions within the development team
• Oversee the software development process
• Architect system design
• Solve complex technical challenges

Our tech stack comprises AWS servers, Docker, Github, Django, Python, GraphQL, Hasura, and Flutter.

We're looking for someone with:

• A solid business acumen
• A self-starting, proactive nature
• Full-stack experience with our tech stack
• Exceptional intellectual ability

The initial involvement could be as low as 15 hours per week. Please note, we can only offer limited cash compensation, which may be less than what one could earn at a multinational company. However, we believe in shared ownership. Therefore, your compensation will also include equity, under terms comparable to all other co-founders. You can choose to receive your compensation as cash or equity, with the cash component currently limited to around 10% for every cofounder.

In addition to monetary compensation, we offer share ownership of the company under the same terms as other co-founders.
