Cto & Co-Founder @ Mental Wellbeing Startup

We are a startup in the mental health space with over 15,000 users per month, seeking a CTO to join us as a co-founder. This role is suited for an entrepreneurial full-stack developer who values contributing to a meaningful project over conventional employment.

🌐 ABOUT US

We started our journey 10 years ago with a social app that paired individuals based on IQ and personality tests. This company we sold 8 years ago but recently reacquired it. We are relaunching it with a renewed focus on promoting mental wellbeing through self-help groups. We have a robust team of psychologists, engineers, designers, project managers, and marketers.

🔧 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As our co-founder and CTO, you will:

• Code yourself on the backend
• Architect system design
• Oversee the software development process
• Work with our DevOps/server admin
• Drive key decisions within the development team

🛠 TECH STACK

Our tech stack comprises AWS servers, Docker, Github, Django, Python, GraphQL, Hasura.io, and Flutter.

✅ WHAT WE EXPECT

We're looking for someone with:

• A self-starting, proactive nature
• Full-stack experience with our tech stack, in particular Python and Django
• A solid business acumen
• Exceptional intellectual ability

⏳ TIME COMMITMENT & COMPENSATION

The initial involvement could be as low as 15 hours per week. Please note, we can only offer limited cash compensation, which may be less than what one could earn at a multinational company. However, your compensation will also include equity, under terms comparable to all other co-founders. You can choose to receive your compensation as cash or equity, with the cash component currently limited to only around 20% for every cofounder.

🌎 OUR INTERNATIONAL TEAM
